From Daddy: On Thursday, I accompanied his class on a field trip!
A school bus took us to the Cable Car Museum, outside of which we enjoyed a snack from our lunch boxes. Then we got to explore the museum.
Afterward, we had a long walk to a bakery to pick up Dim Sum then to Willie “Woo Woo” Wong Playground to eat (the Dim Sum and lunch) and to play.
Next, we walked to Gordon J. Lau Elementary School to tutor first graders in Cantonese.

Then, photos and a long walk to Market Street. Inside Powell Street Station, we munched on fortune cookies (purchased in Ross Alley between Dim Sum and the playground) before boarding the N-Judah back to school.
It was a busy and tiring day!
The next day was Friday, but we had the day off of school for the Lunar New Year. We had a friend over for a brief playdate in the morning and then we went to have fun at Yeah-Yeah and Ngen-Ngen’s house at lunchtime.
On Saturday, had more play time and then we met Grandma and Granddad for dinner in Gilroy to celebrate Mommy’s birthday a bit early.
