Granddad was fascinated by the rock below. He thought that it had a face. We named it “Rocky” to help Granddad remember it. The boy tried to knock a large stick off Rocky.

Yesterday

He had been sneezing a lot since Saturday, and I believe that it developed into a full=blown cold by Wednesday evening. We kept him home from school on Thursday.

He was far from 100% on Friday morning. He woke around 3:45 a.m. and did not develop an appetite for breakfast at his typical time. Breakfast options at home did not interest him, but he was interested in breakfast at McDonald’s. We hadn’t had McDonald’s for breakfast since Hawaii, over a month and a half ago.
