Two Weekends Ago
From Daddy: The next in our Video of the Day series includes a drive and conversation through the Bunker Hill Tunnel.

From Daddy: It’s been a tradition! Every year I take photos of him before the Golden Gate Bridge just before a camp day at the Bay Area Discovery Museum.
This year, he added the Robin pose.
Also, he has wanted to record a video each morning for Mommy:

He has learned some new skills in swimming class!

From breakfast this morning, he wanted a bowl of Corn Pops with milk. I wasn’t even aware that we even had Corn Pops in the house, but I allowed it.
Later, he told me that he didn’t like them and moved the bowl to the sink. I moved it back to the dining room and reminded him that he asked for them.
Later still, while I wasn’t looking, he poured it out into the sink on the towel (why was a towel in the sink?!) and sneaked back to bed.
So, eventually I went to him and said, “I have a problem. The problem is that you misbehaved and poured out your Corn Pops in the sink on a towel. Were you supposed to do that? (No.) Did you know that there was a towel there? (Yes.) Anyway, my problem is that you misbehaved but if I don’t give you another breakfast, you’ll be hungry. So here’s my idea: You pay for the Corn Pops with your own money and I’ll give you another breakfast.”
He readily agreed to the deal. “Deal. How much do Corn Pops cost?”
I said, “I don’t know; let’s find out!” So I searched online. A box seemed to be $3.99, so I charged him a dollar. He agreed and enjoyed his next breakfast of corn flakes with milk and a strawberry Pop-Tart. (Mommy would later find it funny that the computer had an open browser window on Corn Pops.)
Apparently he thought–maybe the box suggested it–that the Corn Pop would taste like kettle corn. Which Mommy says that he doesn’t like that much anyway.
Later This Evening
American Ninja Warrior!
From Daddy: I brought him to the Bay Area Discovery Museum this morning for Fort Building Camp for the third year in a row! He’s been looking forward to it.
Just before camp, we watched a ship pass under the Golden Bate Bridge. Click above or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQ0wNRsGSPc to watch a bit.
Two Years Ago
From Daddy: One week ago, we were glad to have his friend over for pizza and American Ninja Warrior. We loved the Pipe Fitter and Go Drew Dreschel!
(or click https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svskLMpBIdQ to learn more about the Pipe Fitter)
(or click https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rB12rlhYrQY to see Drew’s run!)
From Daddy: After the usual breakfast at McDonald’s (where we saw a classic car as above)…
…and another great day at camp…
…we were pleased to host our friend for a playdate.
The boys’ project was to create these videos below and post them to YouTube.
