From Daddy: Last night, he pointed out a very wiggly tooth (just to the right of his bottom front teeth, from his perspective). It was quite wiggly, but I didn’t think that I could extract it without too much pain. We tried a few times–he even got out of bed after the lights were out because he claimed that he couldn’t stand the wiggliness anymore. In the end, we waited until morning.
This morning, the tooth was only marginally more wiggly, but he was willing to endure a bit of pain. I twisted on the tooth–a bit of pain–but then it wasn’t too difficult to remove the tooth afterward.
He was happy with the extraction. He had a great story to tell (including to Yeah-Yeah and Ngen-Ngen tonight at dinner). I was proud of him!
Currently, he is in bed and the tooth is in an envelope under his pillow.
