He and I went to Home Depot to run an errand, and then to Serramonte for lunch. He was being mysterious about what he wanted and I went for it. Somehow, he claims, he lost the words to describe pizza (it has something with a “B” in it, he said, which in fact with “b” for “bread” like pizza crust), which I got for him, for which I probably would not have agreed to go to Serramonte had I known that he meant pizza.
After he ate, he said, “I’ll be at the fire!”
I convinced him to sit with me while I finished lunch by letting him play with my phone. Then we spent time near the fireplace in the food court.
Afterward, on the way home, I drive by the basketball court at Sunset Playground. I noticed the court was available, so we played Around the World (he beat me) and then Ga-Ga and Di-Di joined us.

While shopping at Target in Colma to replace his backpack (now with a big hole), he found these globes.
His latest passion is geography and he really wanted one. I suggest that we could find a bigger, better one (because I had secretly been thinking about getting him one). He said, “That’s okay; this will keep me company.” Eventually, I convinced him to wait and we bought a 20-inch inflatable globe that he enjoys, throws, catches, etc.
