From Daddy: When I got home from work, he was seated on the couch watching a bit of TV. He nonchalantly called me over, caught my attention, and opened his mouth!
He lost a tooth! He’s mentioned just weeks ago how much he couldn’t wait to lose one because Ga-Ga already has. He told Mommy that he’s been waiting a “hundred years” to lose one.
He said that he lost it today while lining up for English class when his hand actually hit his mouth area and popped it out. Unfortunately, he lost the tooth so we have no souvenir. Afterward, he washed him mouth in the bathroom and he was fine.
We (and his school) celebrated International Walk to School Day this morning! We left the house around 8:15. As we walked up Kirkham Street, I mused when I saw a Honda Civic (not as old as the Old Daddy Car) and mentioned to him how similar it looked to the Old Daddy Car. He mentioned that the Old Daddy Car has new owners taking care of it (which I hope is the case). I told him that I hope that the next owners would love the car as much as we did. He mentioned that we had the car before Pre-K, and I countered that the car was older than him!
The weather was overcast and very cool. By the time we approached school, however, clouds were burning off. He lacked a t-shirt in his backpack, so I would later bring one from home.
We arrived at school around 8:30. He wanted to show me his version of American Ninja Warrior’s Cliffhanger obstacles:
(or click https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6R5GnJu2Kzg to see him cliffhang)
Then we arrived at the school garden! He received a sticker (which he asked me to stick insider his backpack) and we had breakfast of breads, pastries, bananas, and juices.
What a great morning!
