From Daddy: Today wasn’t the last day of kindergarten, but rather the next-to-last day. With the school year running short, I gave him a final opportunity to walk to school this morning.

Afterward the ceremony, we returned to the classroom for a great slideshow that his teacher assembled. Then we enjoyed a special potluck/luncheon.

After lunch, he returned to the basketball courts (which is where he was immediately before the ceremony; Yeah-Yeah and I were able to play with him and his friends for a while before the ceremony began).
His after-school program was to have ice cream, but instead we went to JJ’s.

We invited one of his best preschool friends who lived nearby. We played together for a while before returning home for homework and then dinner with family, May 29, 2014, 3:51 p.m.
