This Morning
Tuesdays and Thursdays are calisthenics days at his before school program. He grumped about it, saying that he doesn’t like calisthenics. However, then he saw what the kids were doing. “Banana Tag!” he exclaimed and ran right in!

He was joyful–happy and smiling–to play Banana Tag. He used to cry at the prospect of losing in elimination games like dodge ball, Sharks and Minnows, musical chairs, and tag, but now he seems to have advanced! I’m so proud of him!
Also this morning, I took the opportunity to thank the before-school teacher that help him feel better yesterday after he hurt his elbow. I told him that he “made [him] feel better” after he broke his skin.
