Monthly Archives: October 2010
From Brian: It’s Monday! Time to brush your teeth…
…and go to the office!
From Brian: The family went to a small pumpkin patch last week to purchase a few decorative pumpkins. (Next week we plan to buy the bigger jack-o’-lantern-type pumpkins.)
This particular pumpkin patch was unlike the one that he traditionally visits (Last year: https://beanieblog.wordpress.com/2009/10/31/pumpkin-day, and the year before (his first visit to a pumpkin patch): https://beanieblog.wordpress.com/2008/10/13/our-first-trip-to-the-pumpkin-patch), so we didn’t know how he would react. However, as you can see by the photos above and below, he was so incredibly happy.

Afterward, we all went out to dinner! (Recall: https://beanieblog.wordpress.com/2010/10/22/ice-cream-mess-the-big-bathtub)
From Brian: One of Robert’s favorite toys is his riding truck. He got the truck for his first birthday and still rides it on occasion.
He also loves his Ducky, Both the duck and the truck were gifts from Grandpa and Grandma Pam. Thank you!
From Brian: On Sunday, we went out to dinner as a family.
Mommy and I shared dinner while Robert got an order from the kids menu.
His dinner included a free ice cream cone!
At this moment, I can’t recall Robert ever having an ice cream cone to himself. He didn’t eat all of it, but he really enjoyed it (though his jacket did not).
Speaking of messes, on the following night (Monday), Robert had his very first bath in the big bathtub!
(His second bath in the big bathtub was shown in yesterday’s post.)
From Brian: Maia, Katia, and Alaina stayed over a couple of nights ago on Tuesday.
That meant pizza and a movie.
Then Katia and Alaina joined Robert for storytime before bed.
From Brian: Due to Robert’s request, we played in the park and ate take-out dinner on a picnic bench. (Well, Robert wasn’t very interested in eating.) Here’s a video of Robert playing in the park in the early evening:
