Poor Little Beanie!

From Brian: Robert has a fever and I’ve been feeling so badly for him for a few days now!

Keeping his head down

It started on Sunday night. After Robert went to bed, the rain and hail fell so loudly that I was a nervous wreck, ready to rush into his room to comfort him if he woke crying (which he didn’t, thankfully).

Can't see him!

On Monday he had a slight fever and didn’t have much appetite. I bathed him after dinner and during the bath he became very panicky. I washed and dried him quickly afterward, then I dressed him. He shivered a bit and said something that sounded like, “Sorry I’m not happy” or something! How sad!

He slept for much of today and ate very little at dinner. Hopefully he’ll feel better tomorrow!

Something funny and neat (only as his parent though): Just before bed, his mommy brought out saline solution and a baby nasal aspirator to clear his nose. When he saw this, he began to cry immediately! It was sad but we were impressed that he remembered the experience from the last time over two months ago (recall “Coughing Beanie” https://beanieblog.wordpress.com/2010/02/04/coughing-beanie)!

From a happier photo, here is Robert snacking on crackers, strawberries, and milk on the sofa a couple of weeks ago (though I don’t think that he ate many of the strawberries—he’s been very picky lately).
