From Brian: We all made it back from Easter weekend! You will not be disappointed: Here are pictures of Robert’s Easter egg hunt!
On Saturday, there was an outdoor egg hunt in Grandma Carol’s and Granddad’s backyard for four kids. The younger pair were Brady and Robert, so they got a head start going counterclockwise around the pool. Samantha and Hannah went the other way shortly thereafter.
I participated in the egg-hiding, trying to hide eggs in cleaver places. Robert’s Mommy was far more logistic; she know that kids would not appreciate my being to cleaver.
After the egg hunt, all celebrated by drawing with sidewalk chalk.

Yesterday morning (actually Easter Sunday), there was a private Easter egg hunt for Robert only.
Robert’s interest in this smaller egg hunt was no as great as when he was in the company of other children, but the adults were delighted!
Later, Robert cracked opened his eggs to search for treasure.
After Robert took tiny nibbles out of four marshmallows, we confirmed that Robert did not really care for them! However, did enjoy the Easter basket that his Mommy assembled.
The basket contained Elmo-themed Easter Eggs with halves of his favor grain and fruit bar and cheese crackers. Also, pictured is an Elmo book which he proceeded to read while sitting with his back supported by Mommy–a perfect end to a Beanie Easter egg hunt.
While leaving Robert’s grandparents was difficult, Robert is very happy about his best Easter ever! Thank you to Grandma Carol and Granddad!
