From Brian: Grandma Carol and Granddad visited this weekend! They arrived late Wednesday night. On Thursday, they, Robert, and Mommy went to the pumpkin patch. (More photos at yesterday’s post https://beanieblog.wordpress.com/2009/10/31/pumpkin-day/, but here’s a photo below.)
Later that night, we had dinner at The Magic Flute Garden Ristorante (where we had Easter Brunch in April https://beanieblog.wordpress.com/2009/04/18/easter-brunch-last-weekend/) for Grandma’s birthday.
On Friday, Grandma Carol and Granddad stayed home with Robert while Mommy and Daddy saw Wicked! On Saturday, we all went to Yerba Buena Gardens for a kid-friendly Halloween event.
And what was his Halloween costume?
Yup, he was a PENGUIN!
You would not believe the large number of people that wanted to take his photo!
By the way, the best costume theme that we saw was a little girl dressed as a bumblebee with her parents dressed as beekeepers! (Sorry, no photo.) Here are photos of the penguin unmasked:
Later, we made our way to the playground:
Grandma took the penguin to the small slide:

Granddad took the penguin to the big slide!
Yes, Grandma was worried.

But there was no question that he enjoyed it!
We had a lot of fun!
