Our Trip to Southern California

From Jen: Robert and I headed to Southern California on Labor Day. We had a good time with Grandma Carol and Grandad in Santa Clarita on Monday and Tuesday before heading down to see Grandpa and Grandma Pam Wednesday and Thursday. We went back to Santa Clarita on Thursday night and stayed until this morning (9/13).

Here are some pictures and a video from the trip. There aren’t a lot, as Brian is always better at remembering to take pictures than I am.

First up, a stop at Casa de Fruta in Hollister on the way down south. Grandad took Robert for a ride on the carousel. He wasn’t too thrilled with the horse, so they eventually moved to another seat.

On Tueday, we spent most of the day with our good friends Erinn and Jeannie, as well as Erinn’s children Hannah and Brady. Brady and Robert decided to try on some of Hannah’s headbands.

Brian joined us on Saturday and drove us home Sunday. We stopped in Coalinga at Harris Ranch to stretch our legs and change Robert’s diaper.

Throwing the cup looks like fun. I think I’ll start copying him…
