Touching his toes, January 30, 2009, 6:53 a.m.
From Brian: This morning I was fortunate to get a photo and a movie of his playing with his feet. He often enjoys this when he lying down on his changing table or crib. Sometimes–even cuter–he holds his feet and rocks back and forth on his back. There is no rolling in the video below, but I think it’s cute anyway!

Below is another video from this morning. He is demonstrating manual dexterity that we never could have imagined just a couple of months ago:

By the way, after the video ends, he successfully gets the pacifier into his mouth!
Yeah-Yeah plays with Robert, January 29, 2009, 7:11 p.m.
From Brian: After the long trip back from Alameda yesterday, we made it to Yeah-Yeah and Ngen-Ngen. Bok-Bok had already had dinner, and I ate quickly with Arlene Goo-Goo, Uncle James, and Christopher Ga-Ga while Yeah-Yeah and Ngen-Ngen cared for Robert. We didn’t have much time for photos, but here’s a cute one above!

From Brian: Robert and his mommy went to Alameda today to play with Alison, Maia, Katia, and Alaina!

Afterward, I picked up Robert and we drove to his grandparents in sticky traffic. Robert cried a lot on the way, but eventually we made it!
Laughing on his changing table. Is he winking? Nah, just reacting to the camera flash! January 24, 2009, 9:40 a.m.
From Brian: Sometimes in the mornings, he is in a particularly good mood. Also sometimes, he really enjoys being on his changing table. Combine the two, and he might just play as he does in the videos below:

From Brian: As part of family tradition, we visited Yeah-Yeah and Ngen-Ngen yesterday and joined them (and also Bok-Bok, Arlene, James, and Christopher) for dinner.

Sitting in the Crib, January 25, 2009, 7:40 a.m.
From Brian: While I was changing his diaper this morning (very yucky this particular time), I noticed how camera-ready-cute he looked! So I sat him in the crib and took the above photo. Isn’t he cute?! Unfortunately, he didn’t stay upright as characteristically long as he is usually able, as shown below:
He fell over just after I snapped a photo of him sitting happily, January 25, 2009, 7:40 a.m.
I was worried that he might cry and/or that he hurt his head, but the next photo below shows his good spirits!
Still smiling, even though he lost his balance, January 25, 2009, 7:40 a.m.
