Today
Today was his last ceramics class at school in a series of eight weekly sessions (one of which he missed because of illness). He told me that today he painted “his face” (presumably a ceramic face that he made) and that he didn’t like ceramics class because (and I’m not sure that I fully understood this) ceramics class delayed him from being able to drink water “until I realized,” he said, that there was a water fountain nearby. Sheesh.
Yesterday
Yesterday was his first field trip! He went to Aquarium of the Bay and Mommy was able to chaperon! He loved it! He made sure to mention to me that he got to ride a “school bus…FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!” He also enjoyed seeing “the jellies” (not longer calling them “jellyfish”). It sounded great.
